Hi, thanks for checking out my profile. My name is Andrew and my grand philosophy for life and love is to stay young in spirit, have fun, be responsible, and realize that life is more about the journey then the destination.

I would consider myself to be a charismatic romantic. I like to have fun in life, I don't think most people have enough fun, and I try to see the good in everything. What I really love to do, is to share that fun and beauty with the girl I'm dating.

What I am looking for is someone who is fun, sincere, has kept their girlish qualities, keeps positive, and loves to see the beauty in life. Eventually I want her to not only be my best friend and confident on all things, but I want her to be someone that I can share love and life with openly and honestly.

I have many passions in life from the real to the created. I love nature and all of its wonders; my cottage in the summer; nature walks, camping; and seadooing on Georgian Bay without destination. I love watching the sunrise and sunset; staring at the stars on a clear night while sitting by a fire playing music with friends. I also love kids and animals and all of the joy that they bring to people’s lives.

I have a strong love for the Arts as I went to a arts school in my high school years. As well I also have a great appreciation for all music as I've spent a lot of time in the Toronto music scene, and have been involved in music on some degree for as long as I can remember. I pretty much listen to and enjoy all music from rock, to jazz, to pop and I always like to find something new to listen to. I myself am more of a lyric person (I'm a writer/singer), so I really enjoy music with deeper, positive meanings as I believe that everything we put in our environment affects us in some way.

I really enjoy adventure and trying and learning new things no matter what they are or how obscure. I love going out and trying new restaurants or just finding an interesting place that I’ve never been before. I enjoy sampling new foods, and meeting new people with different ideas as well as perspectives, and even though I may not always agree with them I always try to hear them out and understand their point of view. Another one of my adventurous sides is that I love to travel, see new places, learn about new cultures and really immerse myself into the place that I’m visiting. I’ve been lucky enough to travel to many places in the world including France, Italy, all of Canada, Hawaii, Barbados, Mexico, to name a few all while visiting friends, family etc, and the experiences that I have gained I believe have shaped me the most into the person that I’ve become. I’m hoping to make it back to Hawaii soon, and or New Zealand in February so as to keep up with my journey of experience.

Now knowing all the above about my love for adventure and learning/studying new things etc, I also manage to keep myself centered and grounded. I work as the V.P. of IT/Marketing for my family’s successful companies and have for the past 15 years; I also work in the music business as stated above, at times as a marketing consultant while trying to help out other people and friends as much as possible.

So work and staying successful in anything and everything that I do is as important to me as finding new directions to travel and learn in. I also like to stay as fit and healthy as possible and I always plan to be that way. I try to always look, feel and dress as good as possible, and I'm very much into natural health etc. Because of this I would say I’m more of a natural cure person then a medicine person. I believe most ailments can be dealt with or cured using natural devices.

Other important things to know about me are that I consider myself to be a bit of an out of the box thinker I usually create my own path rather then follow others, I’m into natural health and eastern philosophies, I'm quite spiritual though not in a religious way, I carry my own personal style, and I enjoy activities such as rock climbing and mountain biking. I’m very close with my family and my friends as they are all very important to me. I also like to enjoy myself and try to get out and have fun as often as possible.

Oh and one other thing even though I'm looking for a long term relationship. I'm more interested in finding the right person, I'm not in a rush, and I hope you aren't either. Everything takes time, especially a good relationship. So if after you’ve read my profile you think that we might have something in common drop a note and at least say hi, after all what do we have to lose?

Oh and by the way if I don't get back to you immediately please don't be offended as I always try to keep busy and may just be on a pause from the dating scene, or I just might not feel that were a good fit. I will however promise that if you do contact me or add me as a favorite and I think we may have things in common, I will get back to you.

I think for a first date we should keep it simple a coffee at a nice cafe, or a drink or two at a local pub. This way we can get to know one another and see if there’s a spark. If there is, then on the second and third dates we can get more creative; dinner at an interesting restaurant, tour of Ontario wine region, rock climbing etc.
