I spend so much time in the water I could be a fish. Maybe not a Game fish though. I am more of a sunfish except they are kinda stupid, they bite the same hook time after time. Ok maybe I am a sunfish I keep trying to find a nice girl and bite the hook time after time.
I just ask one thing, if I am not a keeper then please throw me back don't just leave me lay on the dock to die.

About me; I enjoy fixing things like engines, houses, cars, sleds, and boats. I like the thrill I get when I squeeze the throttle and the power flows. I also like to build engines on the coffee table because I like to watch TV while I work, this is recreation don’t forget.

I am looking for a woman that is strong enough to get through my self centeredness. I will always be faithful and will always stand with you when trouble comes. I need an understanding woman obviously. Maybe I am asking too much seeing as I am single still.

After being here for a while I have come to some conclusions. I am going to be honest about who I am and what I would like in a partner. That way there are no misunderstandings.

The things that are important to me are to be; wanted, needed, and loved. These are basic human needs and should go both ways. I am looking for a woman to love me, respect me, and treat me well. In return I promise to love you, respect you, and treat you well. I am searching for stability, the kind that comes with love and trust.

I believe 100% that a safe, secure, and supportive home can be created if both partners want it and that open sharing of feelings, needs, desires, and love is crucial to a successful relationship. I am willing to risk a broken heart for a chance at true love.

I want someone that can go out for an evening with her friends without having either of us worry about it. A relationship is a multifaceted thing that includes sharing the good and bad days in each others lives. I'm not unhappy being single and truly believe that there is a woman for me. I just have to be patient. As much as I am enjoying myself here, ultimately my goal is to leave.

I try to live my life in a way that will leave me with no amends to be made and nothing to apologize for when I meet my creator. I do not believe in religion but I am very spiritually grounded and thus believe in God.

I am very active in the community and would expect a woman to welcome the attention that comes along with that.

Life is meant to be explored and enjoyed to the fullest. It is far worse to look back and regret not doing something than it is to live with a few bad decisions. Ok maybe that's just me.

I am a Gemini born in the year of the Rabbit and my element is Water. I am not much into that stuff but I do seem to fit the profiles.

I am financially stable, hard working, community minded, like kids(as long as they respect their mom), and have an altruistic outlook on life.

About the "does not want children" thing. I like children which is handy because I have two and enjoy them. Also if you have children then that is ok too because "I like children". What that means is, I am not sure about new ones.

About being separated in my marital status. I have been separated for fifteen years and recently a woman told me that I was lying about being married by not saying separated. Ok so no lies. I am going to get a divorce but have not got one yet.

Before you roll your eyes and say "gawd he reads poetry" read them again. I live the first one and the second was quoted in an Oscar Wilde book and the thought intrigued me. So I like the thought they convey more than how they were written.

How 'bout this... we sit by the fire by the lake, roast marshmallows and enjoy a glass of Zinfandel. No music, just the crackling of the fire and wash of the water along with our laughter and conversation of course.

OR

We will start off with a scenic cruise out to quiet waters of Big Chief Island for a leisurely swim in the warm sand bottomed bay, then up the historic Trent Canal to lock 42 to watch the boats go up and down.
Returning to the beautiful harbor at Orillia for a sumptuous dinner at Sixteen Front and if the date seems too good to end, we could take a moonlit cruise back out to Chief and spend some time floating under the stars.

Ok, maybe save that for the second date.

If we enjoy each others company then it does not matter where we go or what we do.

I would like to meet you for dinner that way we can sit quietly and talk.
It's alright if we do not "click". I do have manners and will behave like a gentleman.
It is very rare that I meet a person and not enjoy the experience, new friends are always welcome.
