I hope to find a simple, down-to-earth man to enjoy life with, someone to travel with, dine out, do the every day things in life with. I am very understanding and a good listener. I enjoy watching football, basketball, and baseball, going to the beach and the mountains, and anything that is historical. I enjoy spending time with my family and would like being a part of his family also. I enjoy reading, doing crafts, and love hitting yard sales, flea markets, antique shops. I am retired from my "real" job, and now work 2 days a week in a local doctor's office. This gives me a chance to feel like I am doing something productive, but still leaves enough free time to do the things I like. As far as music, I like beach music, oldies, easy listening.

On a first date I would suggest we have dinner (Dutch treat, of course), followed by whatever attractions might be nearby. Or, just a long conversation to learn more about each other.
