Hi! My name is Julie. I am an independent, goal-oriented individual. For fun I like to spend time with my friends and family, go to rock concerts that are so loud my ears ring afterwards, watch the Bears and Cubbies, watch scary movies (usually with my hands over my eyes), spend summer days outside, and laugh.

My goal in life is to continue on the path that I am on now. I have a great job that I love, good people around me, and a new home that needs more paint. In 2009 I would like to begin grad school (even though I don't make a very good student). Most of all, I just want to continue to enjoy myself. Life is too short....I like to have fun!

Some things that are unique about me......I love sports more than the average dude, especially football. I don't eat anything that once had a face, I really don't like to go shopping-I prefer to spend money on experiences rather than an oversized designer bag. However, I don't mind buying clothes from American Eagle, books, and movies.

I think the perfect first date can be anything along the lines of drinking coffee at a small coffee shop to having a couple drinks at a local bar. Anywhere we can talk and get to know each other. I'm pretty laid back and enjoy good conversation.
