My philosophy is that life is a journey and you lose out if you just look ahead to your destination rather than enjoying the adventures along the way. Hence, I thrive to live an active life and enjoy being on the go and exploring new places and activities. Some of the things I like to do are going for a run, walks, hikes, bird watching, and gardening. I love both the ocean and the mountains. I also enjoy socializing and, especially, like to play games with friends. I love to learn, which is the reason why I spent way too much time in college. I have been a teacher for several years and am currently trying to figure out if I want to stay on that path. Not sure about this yet.

I am looking for someone who has an adventurous spirit too and enjoys being active and on the go but is also able to sit back and enjoy a good cup of coffee, great conversation, a leisure walk/hike in the woods, and a stroll on the beach. He should also know who he is, what's important in his life, and be willing and able to learn from his mistakes.
