About Me
I really never know what to write when it comes to things like this, so I'll just follow the site's advice.
Depending on what you define as a hobby, I like to write, read, mostly non-fiction, but when it comes to fiction, horror, anything that will make me laugh, and techno-thrillers. I like music of all kinds, and my CD collection has everything from classical to a little rap.
Living in Renton, I like to walk along the Cedar, or Lake Washington, especially in the fall when the trees are full of color.
I don't know what makes me unique, and if I did, I'm not too sure that it wouldn't be egotistical to say. But that being said, I suppose that as corny as it sounds, once I let it open, I wear my heart on my sleeve. I don't have much, and quite honestly, it doesn't bother me. I have what I have, and I'm fine with that. Would I like to win the lottery? Sure, who wouldn't, but I don't plan my life around that hope. And I can promise that I will always be honest with you.
As far as goals, I'd like to get a better job, so that I can go back to college and get my degree. I'd like to meet someone, and find a life time's worth of magic.
An update: Okay, so I guess that I should have been a little more clear about a couple of things. First of all, I'm an atheist, and have been for most of my life. I don't mind religious people, but please don't try to convert me. I may not be a super-liberal, but I am definately left of center, and pretty much disagree with the Republican party on, well, everything. If either of these are a problem, well, then I hope you don't feel that you have wasted your time reading my profile.
Another update: Not quite getting the whole motorcycle thing, and why it's so important, but no, I don't have one. But yes, I have two tats. One is in memory of my grandfather (upper left arm), and the other is my neice's name in a heart, with her birthday underneath (upper right arm).
First Date
Now this may even be harder.
Meeting for coffee or drinks, just to start getting to know each other has always seemed like a good idea. Or, as someone recently told me, go find a place to play pool, so that you have something to do during those awkward silences that will happen.
In all honestly, I'd like to get a rough idea from the other person, and then go from there.
