I am 27 and have been in the Tacoma area for over two years now. I grew up racing motocross and playing soccer on the east side of Washington state. Currently I am in a Civil Engineering Tech program and am three classes away from my associates in business and probably already have my associates in arts.

I am a realist. We have all had something in our pasts at some point that has hurt us (I understand that) or for some, have jaded. However, if you aren't over it... you should really focus on yourself before involving another person in your life.

I am an independent person who knows exactly who I am, what I want, and what I do NOT want. I have taken my time in getting to know myself, and am thankful for it. I have no demons and am fully capable of being happy on my own; until I find that person who just fits. I am a mom and am raising a wonderful child on my own, and I don't give out specifics regarding my kid on here for what should be obvious reasons.

I am definitely an Aquarius if you look to the astrology stuff as a guide. Very independent, on the go, I have little time for emotional baggage (not to be rude, I just don't dwell on things and get over them in a rational manner. I prefer others who are the same way). I am a sarcastic person and can pop off at anytime... be able to handle it and dish it back then we're good!

I think rather than looking for people to date, which seems to just come with preconceived expectations, I would like to find more friends to grow with. If there is someone on here that is worth my time to hang out with, I think that warrants my respect more than just a 'date'.

Should you choose to message me know this... if you cannot manage at LEAST a high school standard of grammar, I will delete your message... really? Come on now guys, it really isn't that hard (and if it is really that hard, don't message me).

Also, if you have children and think it is a good idea to do something that involves us and the kids before getting to know me... you do not have the level of respect for your child(ren) that I have for, and require for mine.

It all just depends on the season I guess... I am over hitting the 'hot spots', would much rather go do something interesting...
