My name is Chris, I enjoy reading first and foremost. My family is very important to me, especially my two brothers and my niece and nephew. I love playing pool, but haven't been playing as much recently as there is no pool hall in Cannington, it's a very small town. I work nights (or really early mornings depending on how you look at it) so socializing can be a bit difficult. My friends are very important to me as well, i've known most of them over 10 years so there is so much history there.

I wouldn't say that i'm really into music to any serious degree, but i do like a little bit of everything, mostly rock. I don't really go out of my way to buy or download music though. I'm a fan of movies, from comedy to drama - not so much into horror or suspense. Some of my favorites are: Fight Club, the Shawshank redemption, Kevin Smith films (Dogma is my favorite), and too many others to name.

I'm looking for someone intelligent, someone who isn't afraid of a little healthy debate or argument. In general i'm looking to talk and chat, just to have some company and conversation. If a romantic attraction develops, well then all the better, but that's not my immediate goal.

On a first date, i would probably like to go bowling. I find it's a good game to break the ice, because anyone can play it, and you're bound to get at least one strike, and at least a gutterball or two, so you get to congratulate each other, and also gently tease each other over misses ;) If not bowling then perhaps a nice cup of coffee somewhere small and quiet, where we can enjoy each other's company without having to shout to be heard.
