Hey, I am taking a break from this site. I hope everyone has good luck on this site and finds someone they can put up with. If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all. I just find this "personals" site far too impersonal. Comical to say the least but I just need a break. Ahhh welcome to my cynical side. I just feel humans were poorly designed to talk for too long on here and far too many prefer to talk here for ever without meeting. I don't understand it.

Hello, I am exploring this site in hopes of finding some who is honest, fun, easy going and has as much a desire to escape this site as I do. I enjoy many interests and am diverse in the activites I have tried in the past. I know what I am looking for, but finding it may prove difficult. My optimistic nature prevents me from giving up on the online dating scene, since I know people who have had success on here. I am happy to say more but would prefer if that took place once we began corresponding. So are you sitting comfortably, than let's begin...

What is a first date??? Convincing someone to meet for a date or even talk on the phone without coming across as pushy, or persistent is a fine line. One line I am not willing to walk anymore. Too exhausting. Best of luck and I hope you get past those first dates onto the more important second and thirds.

As long as it doesn't involve shaking hands, then it is all good! That just screams "blind date" :-)
