I am a NORMAL, average guy. Intelligent, shy, and quiet with a calm, reserved demeanor. Open minded and eclectic, but with old fashioned values. I still believe in outdated concepts such as honor, integrity, and character. I like to country western dance and enjoy seeing live bands. Texas Country music is my passion but I listen to a wide variety of music. I can raise hell with the best of them, but I prefer quiet evenings at home with a good book or better yet, some pleasant company, a movie, and a nice bottle of wine.

I have a low BS tolerance so I do not, and will not play games. That being said, I am NOT one of those guys looking for a one-night-stand. I want something more substantial and I would be interested in dating someone with the hope that it would evolve into something more long term. I am open to the idea, but I am not trying to pressure anyone into marriage or settling down. I am interested in companionship and spending time with someone who is genuine and sincere around my age and/or maturity level (I don't know if that's saying much, I still watch cartoons), who is stimulating intellectually rather than simply physically.

I'm no Brad Pitt and I don't have six-pack abs, but I do work out and I am fit. I may be a little rough around the edges, but I consider myself a good man and I am confident in myself and content with who I am. It would be nice to meet someone who is not shallow or pretentious that will give me the benefit of a doubt by making an effort and taking the time to get to know me before judging me.

Something simple where having an intelligent conversation wouldn't be a problem.
