Thank you for stopping. I am new to this venue, so taking it slowly hoping to develop some good friendships and hopefully something more. Just for the record, I don't see how someone can decide if there is a connection from looking at a profile and picture. Meeting in person makes more sense since it has been my experience that it is the interaction that will attract you. People are more than two dimentional objects and the essence of who one is cannot be portrayed simply in a photo.

I am passionate about life. I am one of those foolish people that wears my heart on my sleeve. I am honest, have a great sense of humour, easy going, trusting, loyal, romantic, affectionate and supportive. I am the ultimate optomist and don't have time for people that feel sorry for themselves.

I am reasonably fit and work out 3 to 4 tmes a week. I am currently working with a personal trainer to take my fitness to the next level. I care about my appearance and always try to look my best. I am just as comfortable in jeans and t-shirts as I am in dresses and heels. I enjoy meeting new people and exploring new places both near and far. I love to travel and plan to do more of it in the future. I am at a point in my life were I have more personal freedom than ever before. It is a very heady feeling and I am enjoying it immensely.

Having said that, family values are also very important to me. I have three grown children testing the waters of independence. My two youngest are now away at University and College. My eldest is back home regrouping before heading out on her own.

I enjoy live theatre, both professional and amature, concerts, live music and exploring new places. I enjoy walking, hiking, swimming, boating, reading and just kicking around. Its not always what you are doing that is fun but the company of the person that you are doing it with. I am not into serial dating, but hoping to find a special friendship that develops into something more.

I love patio dinners with good music or backyard bbq's with friend. I strive to be happy and positive in my life. I like all kinds of music but my favorite is rock and roll from the 50's to the 80's. I enjoy good conversation, opposing viewpoints and different perspectives.

Ultimately, I am looking for someone who is successful in who he is and what he has accomplished. Someone who is confident, secure and easy going. I am not looking for perfection, just someone that is pefect for me. I want to meet someone who enjoys life, is optomistic and likes to laugh. Someone that enjoys family life and believes in commitment and loyalty and expects the same. I want someone that I can spoil and that will enjoy spoiling me. Someone to share dreams and laughter, disappointments and frustrations. Someone I can lean on and someone who will lean on me. I am not looking for an activity partner. In essense and in the end, I want it all; the passion, commitment, romance and the rush you get when someone you love walks into the room. I want someone that enjoys intelligent conversation, and shares some interests. I don't want to smother or be smothered but hope for mutual respect and caring that can last a lifetime. It doesn't happen overnight. The best relationships start as friendships.
