When I'm not working I like playing my guitar, writing, or just curling up with a good book. I am active, and prefer to walk to work rather than drive. Fortunately I live close enough to my work that I can do this. I like going hiking. My favourite season to hike is in the Fall. I have a son who is 15 and he spends half the time at his dad's and the other half with me. It works. He's older and well adjusted. I am a PR/Marketing professional and do work for a Business Communications Association in addition to Customer Relations Management for a insurance company. I enjoy my work very much, but I also enjoy my free time. On the weekends I often head over to Starbucks, grab a Chai Latte and read. Then I head over to the park where there is a track and run a few laps. I find running is a great reliever of stress and it helps me to relax and cope with lifes little curve balls. I like people with a sense of humor, although my type of humor may differ from most. I like sarcasm and am a big fan the tv show House. He's blunt and says it like it is. I appreciate that.
I like most music. Jazz, classical, rock, punk, alternative, blues you name it. I especially like going to listen to live music.

My idea of a good first date is to keep it light. Meet for lunch, or brunch at a cafe or something and just chat. Nothing too contrived. I think most people know early one whether or not they feel a connection.
