I've never done this online dating thing but here we go...

I'm a college student majoring in Studio Art, so naturally I like art stuff, but not really "abstract" or "modern" art. I have an interest in animation and I would love nothing more than to work as a storyboard artist for an animation studio. I love watching movies, and spend a lot of time doing just that, but I also love video games (even if I can't afford any of the new consoles), hanging out (oh how cliche), playing with animals, and I guess just doing whatever comes to mind. I adore wandering around in nature, but unfortunately where I go to college there isn't much opportunity for that. Of course, I like music (what person doesn't?) and I like most genres, but I'm not terribly keen on rap or country. There are exceptions, but in general I don't care for them. Humor is very important to me and the life I live too, it helps everything seem better.

As far as "what I'm looking for", I have a hard time saying that I want one thing and not another. I basically would like to meet a funny, smart, open-minded guy that doesn't take himself too seriously.

If a first date were up to me I would ideally love to go to a zoo, I don't know how weird that would be for a date, but I love the lazy nature of zoos and just watching animals walk around and do their thing. I feel like the low stress atmosphere would make it easy to connect with somebody and just talk openly about whatever comes to mind.
