I’ve been on here off and on for awhile. Same results every time but always hopeful. Nice ladies overall but it seems that the only ones attracted to me are not what fit my life and those I find myself interested in don’t give me the time of day or they ask to learn more then go poof. Oh well. As they say So ist das Leben. I’m an outdoors person. Camping, floating, riding, hiking, it's all good. I'm polite and I don't sweat the small stuff but I do speak my mind when asked which is probably why I'm still single. I reside in a somewhat rural area but I work in St. Louis so I enjoy what both the city and country have to offer. I work out daily at the gym or at home, have a horse and Australian Blue Heelers as "pets". I consider myself well educated and can hold my own in any group and just about any conversation. I dress up or down depending on the situation. My closet has from BDU's, Jeans and T-shirts to Suits and Ties. I wear what's acceptable for the event. I'm a good man but I do have that bad boy side to me at the "appropriate" times. I'm playful and romantic. I'm the guy who will pick you up in my arms or toss you over my shoulder depending on the scenario. I'm a firm believer in COMMUNICATION to make a relationship work. I’m a good dad and father and realize that there is a time to be each where kids are concerned. Kids come first. No exception. I'm looking for someone similar that wants to fit our lives together as partners in an equal relationship. Someone playful, active, non smoker(can't take that), who can run, work out, hike, ride or bike with me and be able to keep up. So if you get winded walking up steps or haven't hiked any further than around the mall in the past few years we probably won't mesh. I want someone honest, open, single and ready to build a great relationship. I don’t need a cook, maid, or mother. I’m a big boy and can do all that myself. I've been single for some time so I know I don't need someone but I would like someone to enjoy life with. I figure I've waited this long to find that someone so I'm in no hurry to rush the right one. I'm a one woman man looking for a one man woman so if you want to date around on here, collect numbers, notches, or favorites I'll pass. That's not what I call building a relationship. I'm looking to be a real connection, not to be a warm body you spend time with till someone else catches your eye you think might be better. Not into the meat market bars. I prefer local pubs, dinners, movies, museums, concerts, rides, walks, faires, hikes and bonfires. If you would like to know more just ask. I've nothing to hide.

Something different. Anyone can do dinner and a movie. Something as simple as a trip to the zoo, museum, window shopping, park, picnic, etc. You'd be AMAZED on how much you can learn about someone while window shopping! Then if that goes well we'll end it up with a dinner someplace quiet where we can get to know each other even better without having to deal with the crowds and noise.
