So, my name is Katie, known as KatieBear to some.

I love life and the people I surround myself with. I am the kind of girl that rarely, if ever, meets a stranger. I have a loud laugh but if you know me it's cute. :D I am 420 friendly. I text waaayy too much, though most people tell me I text hardly at all...

I'm a bit 'gun-shy' when it comes to women these days... Here, I'll tell you why: I have learned a few things in my life and some of those leasons were hard to come by. I have learned how to treat a woman, how to communicate, that sex is for the commited, and when it come's down to it, I love to love. Yeah, I'm not perfect but I don't claim to be... I am just me. I'll open your door, I'll notice what shoe you always put on first, I will find out what colors your eyes turn when you are happy or sad or when you just want to be alone...I will make sure that after a long day at work that your evening is as stressfree as I can make it. I love to love a woman. I think it's facinating when girls put on makeup. The precision and the beauty of is it amazing. But... through all of that I have gotten hurt too and I have learned that smothering someone with texts, calls and the like can sometimes turn people off, that going through someone's phone is the biggest sign of broken trust and/or guilt, that if you don't have friends outside of your relationship you CAN go insane, that the moment you decide to be up eachother proverbial ass you can pretty much kiss your relationship goodbye, and that through all of the bullshit, the drama, and the retarded nature of women, they are the most incredible creatures God ever made.

Anywho, so I pretty much go to work, hang out with my friends, and go to a gay-friendly church on Sunday mornings. I believe that ex's can be friends seeing as they are an ex for a reason. I am a bit stubborn but I am not obsinate.

I am looking for a girl that can be ok with all of me. That can understand the kind of person I am and can be themselves around me. I want a woman that knows how to hold a 'soft butch' [as I refer to myself :P]. I don't care so much about looks as long as you can make me laugh. My 'preference' ranges from femme to butch, as long as we get along. I want a woman that can be self sefficient, but wants me to take care of her too. Someone who has their sh*ttogether and can and will make her case to the world no matter the outcome. Someone who faces life and each new day as a day that can be forever changed with the right attitude.

If you can look at me and tell me that you would kill yourself or some stupid sh*tlike that over me or any other girl, then keep looking; I'm not the one for you.

I believe that people do what they want and that the rest is just excuses, myself included. When I give you my word, I mean it and I expect the same from the people around me. DON'T ever ask me to choose between my friends and you. Been there, done that and I won't ever go back.

Pretty much, I know what I want, and I won't settle for less.
