I believe in following one's dreams and making them come true- most limits are imagined. I love animals and that's a big part of my life. I founded and run what is now North America's largest non-profit homeless pet adoption website, helping thousands of dogs and cats find loving homes each month. I am also on the board of a non-profit that runs an orphanage in Haiti for HIV positive kids. Lest you think I am nothing but a do-gooder, I am also a martial artist and regularly give seminars and compete nationally and internationally. I'm a tough fighter, but I wouldn't hurt a fly. Unless it was a really, really mean and dangerous fly that had done something terribly bad and had to be stopped. And even then, I'd restrain him without hurting him. I am a healthy person, physically and emotionally, (except when I am having a psychological melt down)-- which brings me to my sense of humor, which I think is good...

I was a professional musician and I love music. I am very physically fit, into eating healthy, love yoga, and I LOVE massage and LOVE being in nature. Apparently I also love to write the word love. I listen to NPR and am up on world events and I love going to movies and going out to dinner.

Hmm. I guess I'd make a distinction between a first meeting and a first date. I think people who meet on the internet should exchange one or two emails or calls, and if they are interested, should make a brief meeting so say hi. Then if both are interested, they should go out on a "date". I think a good first date is dinner and a walk. That gives each person a chance to get to know the other. I can think of amazing romantic dates, but those should come if there is romance! For a first date, I think its all about getting to know each other without any pressure.
