I am new to this.....and not very comfortable writing about myself. I really wish someone else would write about me as I'd like my profile to be about how others see me. Something feels right about that. But such is not the case so I'll post some random things about me.

I moved back to California a year ago, after living in New Zealand for 7 years.

I have been married twice, 20 years apart. My first husband was 13 years older than me and my second husband was 14 years younger than me. Go figure.

I don't like the fog because I'm not comfortable if I don't see shadows.

I think God is a VERY creative scientist.

I once spent 30 minutes playing hide & seek with a harbor seal while diving.

I struggle with holding grudges, even if they're justified.

I love to paint but am rarely satisfied with my paintings.

I am back in school, finishing my BA and Teaching Credential so I can teach again! (I taught ESL in New Zealand for 5 years)

I have lived in 3 countries, have Citizenship in 2, have traveled to 5 and have yet to see Europe.

I told my (ex) husband that my wedding vows MUST include "until death or Dave Matthews do us part". (joking)


When I was 10 years old I was absolutely sure I'd be a Go-Go dancer when I grew up.

I am not very athletic.

I don't think people have "baggage", I think its "life experience". Its what we learn from it that matters most.

I have many friends and a pretty big family.

I am a lucid dreamer.

If I could change one thing about myself, I would discard my ability to stick my foot in my mouth. :)

I like to go to movies, the beach, boating, fishing, diving, kayaking, road trips, vacations, parties (or not) and all the usual stuff.

I enjoy the company of others as well as some alone time (homework!)

I have a memory block regarding birthdays.

Sometimes I'm a girlie-girl....sometimes I'm not.


I have more to say as I've had a full life thus far but I'll save it for conversations.
