I'm single, very easy going, sociable, friendly, cheeky, can be direct at times, but my real friends love me for that. I also love going to rock concerts and a big fan of Coldplay!

I moved to Holland 10 years ago from the UK, originally from the Philippines, and have lived in Europe nearly all my life.. I'm very English in a lot of ways. I'm in the Expat community and have met really interesting people from all over the world. I'm involved with organising Fundraising Events in my local church, feeding the homeless and also help at the Soup kitchen in Rotterdam.

Fitness fanatic - I spin about 6 to 7 times a week . Recently, I did 4 hours of spinning in my local gym to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis. I also like running and have done a few Half Marathons including CPC Den Haag last year. I was supposed to run again this year but sadly I injured myself 3 days before the race!!! It was very frustrating as you can imagine.

I'm passionate about cooking, but only love good quality food! My favourite chef Raymond Blanc once said, "If it's not good enough for you to eat, don't serve it to your guests .Don't buy your ingredients because it's cheap, quality is important! If you can't drink the wine, don't use it for cooking!"

I love going to Rock concerts with my 2 older girls (22 and 18), and spending quality time with my 6 year old daughter.

I remember the very first time I met you was at the Italian restaurant in Scheveningen at one of the Women's Guild lunches...you were sitting next to me and chatting about your recent trip to Australia and I remember thinking what a friendly person you were and so easy to talk to and so comfortable to be around. Then there was Jessica and I remember thinking what a gorgeous little daughter you have...it was love at first sight! You have such a wonderful way with the girls and are an inspirational mum.You have touched my life in so many ways... I'll never forget that night you, Gladys, Flavia and I were making Cassava Cakes for the first Asian Evening I don't think I have ever laughed so much! You are such fun to be around - always joking and teasing, saying outrageous things and making us laugh and what a chef...no one makes Chicken Curry like you do, it is to die for! You really know how to throw a party and make everyone feel special and loved. You are always there for us in every way and I feel blessed to have such a treasured friend. Thank you for being you...

Another birthday message from an American friend ...

I remember this bouncy creature in aerobics classes who loved a long gossip over coffee afterwards. She had two sweet little girls,( now 22 and 18) was fun to be around and cooked wonderful food - including for my 50th birthday party. Sadly, the family moved to Holland, but not before she showed me how to cook crispy aromatic duck.... and I still do it her way!
