Hi, my name is Mike and I'm a single guy living just west of Petaluma. I grew up in a small ag town in the San Joaquin Valley, stopping off in Santa Barbara, Berkeley, and San Rafael on my way to Sonoma County.

I'm currently finishing up my fifth and last year of my electrical apprenticeship with the IBEW...I can finally see the light! It's a physically and mentally challenging field and I'm pretty satisfied with my choice so far, though I can't see wearing the toolbags forever. Perhaps I'll get more into the engineering or management side someday, or even start my own solar/green construction firm.

Our jobs tend to start early, so my weekdays usually consist of work, some time at the gym, mild socializing, errands, PS3, etc. - eventually settling into dinner over some political punditry or a ballgame. Though I tend to be modest and reserved, at least around those I don't know, I still know how to have a good time. On the weekends I might take a ride on the motorbike, go for a hike, hang out with friends, or see a good show. Looking to hit Tahoe now that we finally got some good snow!

I'm not a huge fan of online dating, though I've dabbled some in the past. I guess part of me is leaving the door open for that random connection we otherwise wouldn't make in our daily routines. If for nothing else, it spurs my curiosity for how people see themselves and who/what they're looking for.

Simply put, I am looking for someone cute and kind, sweet yet sassy, honest and loving... so, "Why not go out on a limb? Isn't that where the fruit is?"
