About Me
So a brief update to my original profile as of May, 09…. I am now back in California after I find myself this evening re-writing and re-inventing a profile after realizing that if I take the time, put in the effort I might just be lucky and have a lady with discriminating taste read this far. Hopefully you have briefly glanced at the 2 inch pictures and are still interested to read further…….If this is you , I would like to say “Thanks”
So a little bit about me, a brief synopsis without the resume.
I am a well educated professional hoping this may just take some of the guess work out of meeting new people. I am at a great point in my life and each and every day I remind myself how good things actually are. I am not a Glass Half Empty type of guy……My Glass is always full and from time to time spills over when run and laugh too hard. As a child I ran with the scissors and ate the paste. At 45, I sometimes drive a few mph over the speed limit and now prefer pesto over paste.
So here I am , never married, no kids with a great career and wondering what would a woman think when she tries to figure out the pieces to this profile. . I recognize this may raise a “Red Flag” for most women…..Never married, No kids, Etc, but the upside is …No Ex, No Alimony and no Drama. Your thinking he must be afraid of commitment ….Am I right?
I highly doubt I will be starting a family….After all I can’t see myself as America’s oldest Tee Ball coach and I refuse to drive a Mini-Van.
My career has provided me the opportunity to travel extensively and live all over the country as well an amazing three year period living on the ocean in the Caribbean. It was there where I learned how to sail, make a decent Margarita and gained a deep appreciation of how lucky I am.
I’m usually never at a loss for words. My parents made sure my education came first including charm school as a child, a Prep School growing up, college and then a short try at Grad School. (I opted for the Beach in lieu of Grad School)
Although I suppose you could measure success by the things one has aquired,in which case I could say I am successful, but I see things differently...Success to me is measured by the longevity of friendships..Just ask some of my friends I have known for over 30 years who I still reguraly visit despite our geographical distance.
So as a postscript to my original profile and what I am looking for? I would like to meet a sophisticated women with style and discriminating taste who owns that "little Black Dress" and is not afraid to wear it. I am looking to share experiences, develop a friendship and take it from there.
