I recently heard that people get 38% of the meaning of a conversation from tone-of-voice and 55% meaning from body language, which means these words alone without the tone and the body language give you only 7% of the picture.

Don't take life too seriously.... it's too short. I can be serious when the situation calls for it. Open, sincere and believe that COMMUNICATION, TRUST & RESPECT, "MUST" be at the top of the list..... followed by quite a few others.

My background is varried: Have taught swimming, diving, downhill skiing, played up to JR hockey (in the Montreal area) until I blew a knee, coached hockey in Etobicoke & in Barrie, Ont. AND....LOVE TENNIS. Have done a fair amount of boating on Georgian Bay and still kicking my rear end for having sold my boat after it sat idle for a couple of years, it was my cottage on the water.Have done a little travelling - Greece, Japan, Africa, Most areas of the Carribean and Mexico, The Bahamas and just about every State in the US. Throw in a few cruises for good measure.

Have 3 beautiful daughters, all married. I was born and raised in Montreal, most of my working career I lived in the Barrie area. I dabble with web design (my own small business/hobby).

You'll NEVER have to wonder what I am thinking - I will tell you - good, bad or indifferent. Being totally honest sometimes gets me into trouble but in the long run, it's still the best policy.

COMMUNICATION = UNDERSTANDING = PROBLEM SOLVED

DECISIONS: When faced with a tough one, I decide....NOT by what is in someone else's best interest, NOT by what is in my best interest.... I decide by: What is the "RIGHT" thing to do ! It works :)

I have to learn not to put my glasses in my ear (that hurts) and not to put my hearing aid in my nose...... I now hear music in my nose.
I don't have a hearing aid, I lied !!!! So, shoot me !!!!

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes, that way when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

As I lay here gazing at the stars, the wind blowing across my face, I wondered to myself...WHERE IN THE HELL IS MY ROOF?

LOVE ALL ANIMALS.....well, maybe not snakes !!!

The "PERFECT" first date is one that ends with arrangements in place for a second date. Coffee shops are not my first choice as they can be impersonal, full of distraction and less than private.
