Who says hard work doesn't pay off? This year has brought a new car, great new position at work, and I've just moved in to my first home. Three of my major goals have been accomplished and it's time to set some new ones. Basically, my life is just short of perfect at the moment - the one thing that could cap it off would be someone fun to share my spare time with.

Some more about me... I love dogs, but currently don't own one. In fact I've yet to encounter an animal that didn't take to me; you could say that I have an animal magnetism about me. I love to cook, especially breakfast, and am an avid watcher of the Food Network. Speaking of TV, I love WipeOut!, and have found a new guilty pleasure in True Blood. The movie-going experience is still fun for me and I go often. I enjoy all kinds of music, love live performances and held a moment of personal silence when Michael Jackson was announced dead. I could go on with things I like doing, but we'd be here all night. Basically "No" isn't in my vocabulary when the subject of "what to do" comes up!

Humor is important to me, and if it's to be had, you can be sure I'll find it - be it a dry, disarming monologue or a classic pie to the face. I love taking in live stand-up and comedic theater, but also like movies like The Hangover and of course, Family Guy is the best show on TV! I also like to find humor in everyday situations, but I also know when to take things serious and get down to business. Ironically, I'm afraid of clowns.

As far as the girl I'm looking for... she's a peach. Smart and sassy, able to keep me on my toes and quick with the wit. Gets my sense of humor and laughs at my stupid jokes. She's pretty and knows it, but doesn't abuse it, has a sense of self confidence and knows how to take a compliment. Someone with goals in their life, which I would support no matter what, as I would expect the same from her. Someone who appreciates hopeless, old fashioned romance. Finally, she would have a smile that could light up a room. I am a huge sucker for a pretty smile.

PS: We're all out of free iPhones. You'll have to take me instead, however, I never have to be recharged and feel that I come with more enjoyable applications. ;)

Failing that, my favorite and most enjoyable first dates have usually involved some kind of activity. Bowling, mini-golf, batting cages, a carnival or fair - just a few examples of fun things with no pressure that just let the both of us be ourselves. A date that goes well is ideal; what we do doesn't matter, so long as we learn about each other and have fun!
