As a graphic designer, I struggle with a constant inner conflict of abstract expressionism vs. proper kerning. I think I'm complex, but I enjoy the simple things in life; black coffee, scarlet sunsets, single-malt scotch. I'm laid-back, open minded, and a little eccentric. I'm also really sarcastic, and would love it if you were, too. I don't get annoyed very easily. I'm usually very quiet around new people until I figure out how dirty my jokes can be without offending them. John Fante changed my life, and if you know who he is you've become my best friend by default.

I like dark comedies. Really dark. I love to laugh, usually at my own expense but sometimes at the expense of others. My pastimes include exploring dive bars, discussing the minutia of pop culture, loafing at home watching House, driving too fast, and melting hours away in coffee shops. I have music ADD and am always looking for new bands to stuff onto my iPod, but right now I'm on an indie/alternative kick. My taste in music may not always be good, but it is discerning. Often, I'll wander the city aimlessly with my Nikon, hoping to capture something universally beautiful.
