I am a 40 year old uncoventional guy. I don't watch sports. I read a lot. I think book stores are great places to hang out. I also like hiking, walking, hanging out with friends, arguing politics and laughting. I consider living a contented, satisfying life more important than being the total career professional. I have been a career professional but now my priorities have changed.
I like going to the movies and I'll watch almost anything except horror movies. I'll never go bungee jumping over Victoria Falls, but I'll gladly spend a whole day staring at the falls and being consumed by the experience, and I have.
I have wry sense of humor but you'll never catch me watching the Late Show with Letterman. I laugh hard at slapstic comedy. I find Monty Pyton hillarious. I usually prefer small gatherings of a few friends to large noisy parties.
I value friendship and would do anything for my friends.

I think a good first date can be almost anything. What matters is how much you enjoy each other's company.
