I love being outside by the water. Nothing is more relaxing than a long walk by the lake. After work I love to walk down by the lake and talk with the fishermen. I get a lot of great stories from the regular fishermen. I also like to fish but growing up on the South Texas coast I fished regularly so fishing to me is about the people I meet and the things I see. From the retired fisherman who says his secret to catching fish is saying a prayer before each cast (and he does catch more fish than anyone else) to the stooped old gentleman with the long poles that is out there rain or shine, to the kids who look at me and beg me to show them how to catch the fish they see down by the wall, they all make their own stories and warm the heart. Especially the kids who with just a little coaching start catching fish for the first time! I would love to share that with someone special.

I am a country boy at heart but am equally at home in the city. I love a cold winter night in front of the fire with a good historical novel, but am equally at home at the Smithsonian. I have a great sense of humor and can make people feel at home quickly. Soft hearted, patient and kind. Yet strong and determinded. I am a gentleman and know how to make a woman feel like a lady.

First date...hmmm, coffee at Altera by the lake. Talk for a couple hours then a long walk by the lake. Then if things are still clicking maybe Joey Bono's Pizzaria for calamari and Chianti!
