After some serious empirical research I have learned that I can save $50 if I buy groceries and cook the following meal (as opposed to going to a restaurant):

Bacon wrapped sea scallops with lemon beurre blanc and spinach/saffron risotto. Plus there’s enough money leftover to make it twice.

If there is one thing I could try and get across in my profile it would be that I don’t think I’m an ordinary guy. I mean, I cook and have done yoga for cryin’ out loud! Aside from that, I think I have a unique sense of humor, and I try to be thoughtful and passionate in everything I do, which is not always “normal” for guys my age.

I have a close knit family whom I spend a lot of my time with (and this includes a group of friends I’ve known my whole life too). We like to have a good time – I call my parents the weekend warriors – but we are all successfully driven too. One of my biggest accomplishments so far is my path in the culinary world and the fact that I bought a home when I was just 19.

My parents instilled a strong group of values and morals in me, and because of that I think I have a very good head on my shoulders. I’m hoping to meet someone who values family and loyalty too, but I also want to hang out with someone who is fun and active.
