I’m looking for a friend, a best friend then an intimate friend, however that plays out.
I am happy, at peace, and maybe the world’s greatest optimist. I am kind, caring, compassionate, nonjudgmental, curious, and creative. I laugh a lot, at myself frequently, and the foibles of us humans. I am friendly and liked by most people, because of my sense of humor and empathy. I am passionate about many things, but not fanatical.
It’s the journey not the destination that’s important. Life is a great grand exciting adventure that tickles me at every turn. I love all life has to offer.

Riding my motorcycle almost every day enhances my journey. This is more a spiritual experience than it is transportation. Hiking is another way I stay connected with life. A day in the mountains is like a vacation.

I know friendship is necessary for meaningful sexual intimacy. I have always been monogamous in relationships, and expect that in my life.
I believe in fairness and equality. I know we always get what we choose, and we are responsible for how we feel at every moment.

I love dogs, I like cats. I hold animals in such high regard I stopped eating them in 1980. We all make our own choices about this, and I wouldn’t presume to foist my beliefs upon any one else.

Neighborhood coffee shops are great places to explore and cultivate relationships. Friendships deserve time effort and energy. Small groups are more conducive to this than large groups. I know that a few close friends is much more important than many acquaintances.
