I hope to meet a kind, sensitive, young-at-heart, and fit woman who enjoys travel, reading, fitness, the outdoors, and long conversations about life. I am a professor at a university Washington State. I am financially secure, well-traveled, and with numerous hobbies and interests. The best, happiest, and most satisfying period of my life is now; and I am looking for that someone special who feels the same way about her life.

I am a spiritual person, in that I devote a lot of time and energy to thinking about the purpose of my life. During my short time on the planet, I want to understand, as much as my capabilities will allow, the world as it really is.

My favorite "hot spots" are places where wind rustles through pine trees and clouds float overhead. I love drifting in my kayak while listening to water lap against the side of the boat. Also, I enjoy life in busy, chaotic cities in other countries—Beijing, Bangkok, Nairobi, or wherever.

A first date would involve going for coffee or, weather permitting, taking a walk and having a nice long conversation.
