I really would like to be a friend to get a friend and see what happens after that. How about you? Meals at home and dinners by the sea. Poetry in the air. Smiles across a room. Have you ever been at a function and seen somebody across the room that you just HAD to go meet? Yea me too! Is that you? Communication on various levels, and in various ways. I like to be able to hold a conversation not a competion. Competition's not bad ... just not always necessary. In a world of instant coffee and instant tea ... it is fortunate, I say, there is no instant me. I have to admit that things that happen in life affect me and some times it takes a while to recover. But what the hey! It is only days , right? Look after the sun ... As it moves around the moon ... Stopping to smile brightly ... (Stop and think about that). We all need help in this journey through life, even the staunchest among us occasionally cries. Who helps you wipe away the tears? I hope it is not just Mr. Kleenex. I am not only in charge of myself ... I am encouraged by myself. Coming home to somebody who gives a d*mn though, is important and it will require adjustment. Holding, caressing being close to someone without expecting the "next step" is very rewarding to me, so is the next step I assure you. I can hold my own at any endeavor I set my mind to. I have allowed some horrendous s**t to happen to me and accept total responsibility. Not drugs, booze or food just ... well you know. It has probably happened to or around you. My girls are very successful women in their own right. All I did was to provide the foundation and they supplied the effort. Back to effort re the "next step". The effort has to be commensurate with the reward. I've done a lot in my life and now I need to do something for me with someone that matters to me. What do you really want? Another fight or somebody with whom you want to say "Good Night". No. I mean that was a really good night. I can't wait for the day to do..Equality is very important. However, a lady who can hold her own, yet can allow the social games of man and women to tastefully exist, is a treasure. She should not be so self involved that she is not able to laugh at herself. A real person not a prefabricated gold digging, "Barbie Doll". A true and honest friend who just happens to be a lady in the truest sense of the word. What ever happened to the concept of bringing 100% of ones self to a relationship? None of this 50/50 stuff. That means part of you is elsewhere. She doesn't have to submissive just supportive. And, please, please be real. Money is not everything. When you are alone, it is not the coins in the purse that count it is the strength of the fire in the soul that powers and drives the engine of love. For two together, as the sages of many have said, can do the work of many yet one, together is still alone. Find a way to contact me if there is any interest. I'm not a stalker ...
