I'm a hard-working, travel-minded, adventure-seeking, "son of a gun" who enjoys reading about advances in science, checking out GlobeTrekker on PBS, piling my cereal high with a variety of fruits (a "mountain" of 6 different fruits is my record thus far), sports, entrepreneurship, wine tasting, watching films (Hitchcock, scary films, film noir, comedy, adventure genres are my favorites), watching soccer, playing in a few soccer leagues, basketball, volleyball, adventure, listening to live music, comedy, jazz, funk, j-pop, blues, 80s music, biking, hiking, cooking unique dishes, concocting unique drinks (lately been working on different Mai Tai and Sangria recipes), and the great outdoors, and mostly travel. Been to Australia twice, Japan, Hawaii, Iceland, Netherlands, Switzerland, London, Czech Republic, Germany, Armenia, Malta, Hungary, and Atlantic & Pacific Canada.

Turn-ons: Intellectual conversations, family-oriented, respect, intelligence, being considerate, thoughtfulness, someone who likes traveling, adventurous/athletic, laughter/comedy, optimism

Turn-offs: Inconsiderate people, arrogance, selfishness, smoking, multiple piercings, tattoos, attention seekers (i.e., such as those who take/post blatantly inappropriate photos of themselves), pessimism

Something simple such as shooting some pool, playing some mini-golf, driving range, go- karts, arcade, bowling, chatting at a bookstore cafe, meeting for drinks, etc... If you're a traveler too, exchanging travel tales and reminiscing about past travels is always fun!
