I’m not presumptuous or fake. I have 2 young sons (ages 8 and 5) who live mostly with their mother. I'm comfortable with my life, and who I am. I attach myself to people who are honest about the sum-total limitations of their actual needs, rather than inflated, unrealistic ideals. I am responsible, honest and not a game-player. I’m hoping to find someone whom I'm compatible with (friends first). I like people who understand the meanings of loyalty and commitment. I love to laugh, joke, and have fun. I'm serious about the important things, and have also learned not to take myself too seriously. I love to talk, write, and communicate. I'm hoping to find a great woman who is emotionally stable, and is ready for a relationship. I'm an affectionate, loyal, attentive and sensual person, and I'd like to be with someone of a similar mindset and wavelength. I find myself drawn to assertive women who are not dependent, and make their needs known. I'm pretty intuitive and empathetic.

I like to go out sometimes, but I'm impressed by a person's ability to communicate and to be satisfied with simple times & pleasures. I’m passionate about music, theater, bicycles (road cycling), running, riding my Harley, poetry, American lit, history, civilizations, museums, graphic & classical art, comedy, coffee, lazing around reading the paper, weird stores, vintage & thrift shops, anything eclectic or off the beaten path. I like junk food, good food (yes, I can cook-don’t tell anyone!), sports, films, wine, Irish whiskey, trivia, dumb-a** board games. I’m a t-shirt (or sweatshirt) & jeans guy. I dress up when I have to. I have an inspired, creative, irreverent sense of humor. I am tattooed. Just wanted to see who was out there.

I'm interested in a person's ability to generate and carry on conversation. So something light like coffee or dinner appeals to me.
