What is it about love that keeps us coming back searching for the perfect mate for each of us despite the disappointment and pain of our last attempt? Is it that pain eases over time letting us forget how our heart’s were trampled? Is it eternal optimism that that our forever after is waiting just around the corner? Is it the knowledge that when we do find someone special that every moment together is something that will be treasured, enjoyed and remembered for a lifetime? Perhaps it is all of the above.

I long to find that special someone with whom I will share my heart, my smile, my laughter, my hopes, my dreams, my aspirations, my nightmares and ultimately my love and who will in return offer me all that she is and wants to be. I want to be a part of something better than the two of us alone and yet still be uniquely ourselves inside that greater WE.

Who might she be? She would love to chat about anything and about nothing. She would be someone I could share anything with and will be understanding, compassionate and supportive. She would be someone who loves to smile and who even more so, loves to laugh. She would be someone who loves touch, who loves to hold hands, to snuggle close, to cuddle often and to express her love for me in those little simple things she knows I will appreciate as I will in return. She would love an email hello from me at work or text messages on her phone. She would make me slow to leave her and fast to return. She would make my heart go pitter patter every time I think of her, every time I hear her voice and see her smile. While I harbor no illusions that Angelina will dump Brad for me, my match will be somewhat athletic, perhaps even svelte, successful in her own terms, well read, interested in the world around her, have beautiful eyes, a warm smile and be a great kisser. She would be just as happy cuddling by the fire with me one night, visiting a gallery the next, or dancing another. Think you might have the right stuff? I hope so.

Me? I am Daniel. I am a full time father of two teens on the Southeast side of town near DTC. My kids mean a lot to me and there is very little I wouldn’t do for them. I work in the Cherry Creek North area. Politically, I am pretty liberal, though I am not registered with either party. I do however think the George W Bush administration was one of the worse mistakes this country has ever made and we made it twice. I was brought up Jewish and even served on some Jewish Board over the years. I would consider myself VERY un-religious today.

I am self employed in advertising, marketing and web design. Am I rich? NO! Love isn’t about money…it’s about sharing what we both bring to becoming US. A single flower picked from the garden with love and delivered by my mate with a kiss is worth far more to me than 2 dozen perfect long stem roses delivered from a florist. I love music, and have about 40 Gb on my iPod. I lean to more modern stuff but enjoy some music from almost any genre. I go for everything from Dave Mathews to Frank Sinatra, from Sting to Mozart, from Howie Day to Melissa Ethridge. I listen to NPR and KBCO. I love to discuss anything from musical styles to current events. I love movies…whether in the theatre or on DVD. I also enjoy reading and have something to read around every turn. I like to ski, rollerblade, bike ride, backpack, fly fish, play golf or tennis and am only missing someone wonderful to do any of that with.
