I enjoy catching up on the weeks worth of reality tv shows late at night, thank goodness for the invention of the DVR. I like watching people outdoors and movies. There is always a book on my nightstand. I've always enjoyed traveling and have just taken my dream vacation to Italy last year for my 35th birthday. There is quite an interesting story behind it.

I am taking a couple semesters off from college (again) before returning to complete my Master's in Nursing. I currently work with sick newborns and love it.

I have no problem being the life of the party if I'm called on to do so. But, at the same time, I can be the fly on the wall watching everyone around me. It is even better if I get to watch others make fools of themselves.

I can listen to most all types of music except speed metal and hard gangsta rap. I just don't understand what they are saying/singing.

I'm definately a people person. Because I work in an environment full of beeps, alarms and crying infants, I treasure moments of silence. I was once told by an elder that you can tell you are spending time with true friends when you are able to sit in a room together and not have the feeling that you HAVE to talk.

As a postscript, I seem to get several questions a week regarding my weight. Yes I am overweight. I am though well on my weigh to my goal weight. If you are unable to look past that part of me and I message you, please have the politeness to answer and say so. Honesty is important even to those you dislike. Pun intended of course....

I think first dates are tricky, there are so many things that can go wrong. I would like to catch a late lunch at an ecclectic bistro of sorts. Second I'd like to head someplace like Dave and Buster's for an evening of fun, ( and check out your degree of competitiveness.) Lastly we could end at an ice cream shop to talk over the day.
