About Me
I'm a simple, down-to-Earth sort of guy who would like to become acquainted with someone in a special way. I am not demanding nor overly particular...looking for honesty, integrity, dependability, sincerity, someone who is not prone to being promiscuous. I want compassion as well as passion. I prefer a heart that is tender and capable of humbleness. I don't expect a beauty queen, just someone who is reasonably attractive. I keep myself healthy, clean, and normal...and I expect the same. I studied art in college but chose to write instead as a creative outlet. I am a bit of a poet and a die-hard romantic. I can enjoy most types of music except rapp and heavy metal. I am made soft in heart by babies and old people. I enjoy numerous outdoor activities, especially fishing and hiking forest trails. I realize we all must be careful on here...but, for what it's worth, I'm one of the good guys. If your interest is sparked at all let's say hello and let the cosmos do its handiwork. Pics are current, dates on them are wrong.
First Date
A first date might include meeting in a public place for coffee, ice-cream, or maybe just a walk together. Hopefully it would progress into some good conversation, laughter, and the discovery of many things in common. If that goes well maybe we can plan on another time together that could be in the form of dinner and a movie, ATV riding, or visiting some museum or art show. I am a patient, non-aggressive guy who prefers to allow feelings to take the right form before heading down that flowered path. It's best to let the hearts and minds take the reins, the ride is much more fulfilling. With great anticipation of meeting you, that's enough for now. EARLY IN A MEADOW GREEN O pastoral blossom petals, Delicate peach bud umbrellas, You whose wavery descending Lays you on my path so gently... I dare not place, as I go through, My leathery soles damp with dew Upon your faces Of fleeting pink, Nor let my laces Loosed by briar And every stubborn Stick-Tight link Disturb your lie this dawning hour. For I come by rill and dale, Many a thicketed knoll I scaled. I came at once with zeal and zest, On past the Honeysuckle's breath To see the sun's first glinting peeks Light the crystals on your cheeks. Soon, though, I know That all shall go... The dew, the mist, The Morning Glory's fist. By noon the sun will turn you brown, Rob your cheeks the childish blush. But not before I, kneeling down, With that same zest and zealous rush Place as though a choir trued... Petals pink in a bonnet blue. Ken
