I like to run, worked my way up to marathons, and since then I started triathlons. I love living in DC, and my time here has gone very quickly. I have also lived in New York City, North Carolina, and France.
I like to stay active (I believe it's the key to living a great life over the long run), and recently picked up rock climbing. I would love to do more of that over the summer outside. I am also the eternal optimist and love a quick wit, sarcasm, and awkward moments.
I don't mind being at home, either. My TV stopped working in January, and I have put off getting a new one; I wanted to see if it would make me crazy not to have one. (I have been watching movies through my laptop, and there is cable TV next to the cardio equipment in my gym, so I haven't gone completely without!) I have gotten a lot of reading done, though....

Anyway, I have never been married and have no kids. I recently became an aunt for the first time, and I'm loving that too! I could go either way on having kids of my own, as long as I have them in my life.

My favorite meal is a baguette, cheese and bottle of wine. Shared with someone amazing, of course!

Extra points if you like to be spontaneous and not everything has to be planned out, whether it's the next hour or the next 15 years.
