I recently moved back to Austin about a month ago after finishing up grad school in Houston. This summer I'll be studying like crazy for the bar exam, but I'll still be in dire need of great study breaks! I really enjoy being active, and would love to find someone with an interest in both watching and playing sports. I have a great time going to Round Rock Express games, and am looking forward to rediscovering all of the little things about Austin that make it so great.

I love to talk, but am not really great at talking about myself and what makes me unique...so here goes nothing! I love playing sports - softball and baseball are my favorites, but I'm open to do just about anything. Though I don't go out on the lake very often, it's always been because of a lack of opportunity, so I'm pretty sure I'd love it. While I've got a nerdy side, I'd like to think that I'm a functional dork :) I love learning new things, and as a result have picked up a lot of really random, useless knowledge - it makes me a pretty good partner for Trivial Pursuit! Photography is also one of my favorite hobbies, especially while traveling.

Musically, I'm all over the place. I listen to the Beatles on road trips, work out with either classic rock or something loud and fast, usually have the radio dialed in to a country station around town, and hate that I get hooked so easily by pop songs. Once upon a time I was in high school musicals, and am pretty excited that the Zilker summer musical this year is The Music Man.

I'm somewhere between "dating" and "long term" ... while the ultimate goal is something lasting and meaningful, it seems that looking for something long-term for the sake of it being long-term is a good way to rush into something bad... isn't that what all hopeless romantics say before they're head over heels in a day or two? :)

Nothing too involved - something low-key where there's a good opportunity for conversation, and if things are going well, then finding something fun to do!
