I am a low maintenance man with fairly simple tastes. I am interested in a woman with a pretty smile to match your pretty heart. I play golf weekly and coach my kids in their sports. I enjoy live sports events, primarily at the college level. I retired at the end of summer 2008 as a sociologist. I exercise regularly and enjoy most music from classical to Christian, country to rock. I am only interested in an honest woman. A sense of humor is a plus. Witty is also good. Down to Earth and able to laugh at life. We don't have to have exact interests to be compatible. You don't have to be perfect, just right. I haven't a clue what I am looking for but I will know you when we meet and I want to nurture a long lasting friendship. The look of Catherine Zeta-Jones, the wit of Carol Burnett, and the heart of an Angel. I saw this kid wearing a T-shirt that said "Dirty Filthy Rich". And on the back it said 2 out of 3 ain't bad. (That seems like a good ratio...2 out of 3) Tough shopping list but a variance is expected. I don't need but one...is it you?

I would think a first date should be casual and somewhat brief as meeting for coffee or a coke. A walk afterward. I enjoy food, but sometimes a meal gets in the way of getting to know someone and may lead to awkward silences. I don't believe nonstop conversation is a necessity however. The quiet sometimes gives you time to observe and process information.
