I am articulate, passionate, intelligent, inquisitive, kind, caring and honest; I seek similar qualities in a man but his own specialness mixed in! Not looking for a mirror image but someone with values and ethics, their own unique views and life experiences who is willing and able to share them. Teach me something new, or at least give me a new perspective on something important to you! This would not mean that there would not be private time to indulge in singular activities and persuits. Time alone provides for renewal and something to talk about later. Chemistry is also important...actually it is a must.
I love to be out and experience dinners, cultural offerings, movies, walks, road trips, etc. But I also love quiet, sit at home days, nights, cooking a meal, grilling out and just being with a special person without a lot of words being necessary. A day on or near the water, watching gorgeous sunsets or sitting by a fire....how can you beat that? I could go on...lazy Sunday mornings in bed (have to get up at 4:30 am on work days), a leisurely cup of coffee and breakfast, music (enjoy almost everything except rap and heavy metal).
I have two grown "children" and two Grandchildren, who I don't get to spend nearly enough time with due to geographic locations. I have done a fair amount of traveling to visit them...Washington state (Love it there!), Tennessee, Georgia...next will be Pennsylvania. (My son-in law is in the military) I am a cat lover, especially the big cats. Animals, pets and nature are important to me. Feeding and watching wild birds is a hobby.
