Random bits about me:
I was attending the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan as a graphic design major, but I'm taking some time off until I get my green card. (I'm Canadian, though I've lived here since 2000)
Currently I'm back in Austin looking for a job, then an apartment. I'm mostly looking forward to spending time with my friends and taking advantage of all Austin has to offer while I'm here because I really miss it when I'm gone.

I'm really good at artistic things, playing the quiet game, procrastination, listening to people, and understanding what they're all about.

I don't read nearly as much as I'd like to. At the moment I'm working on When You Are Engulfed in Flames by David Sedaris. Some of my favorite books are- Me Talk Pretty One Day, 1984, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test.

There are way too many movies I love to list, but a few are- Garden State, Amelie, Dazed & Confused, Donnie Darko, Fifth Element, Office Space, Fight Club, Final Destination series, Cry Baby, I am Legend, Jaws, Knocked Up, Labyrinth, LOTR, Nightmare Before Christmas, Shaun of the Dead, Thank You for Smoking, Yellow Submarine, Zoolander.

I'm not even going to bother trying to list my favorite bands. I like a wide variety of genres and my taste depends on my mood. I gravitate towards all rock - indie, alternative, classic and I generally tend not to like country, R&B, or hip-hop, but there are ALWAYS exceptions.

Just something casual where we can get to know each other a bit, perhaps a drink at a local coffee house.
