I'm Brazilian born of Spaniard and Italian descent. And yes, I do have an accent (which is said to be a nice one). So, having latin blood from all sides, I happen to be a romantic; I love to spend time together, love to talk, can express myself very well and clearly (yes, that includes what I feel and think). I'm also very open and honest, and would like to meet someone who shares these same values.

I enjoy quiet times, both at home and out, like watching movies, talking, listening to music, going to a nice restaurant, as well as enjoying the great things NYC has to offer, etc.

I live in NJ and work in NYC as a documentary assistant editor. I play tennis when it's warm and snowboard in winter time, so it would be nice to find a partner who's sort of active (hitting golf balls at the range, biking and camping is cool too).

I tend to enjoy the sort of "upper brow" type of entertainment, including art, cult and foreign film, documentaries, museums, jazz, classic and alternative rock music, and I actually at least try to do some reading. So I'd really appreciate meeting someone whose entertainment diet goes a little beyond fm radio, mtv and reality tv.

My perfect match would be a woman who's mature, confident, fun, drama-free, easy going, who knows what she wants AND asks for it. I'm very easy going, but dialogue is a MUST ;)

A good first date would be something casual. I know that "a cup of coffee" is a tremendous cliché, but I think it actually works out quite nicely; it could be quick, or we could last a couple of hours, we could order another cup and a piece of cake if the conversation is flowing well :) It's a win-win situation.
