I live in a small town in NC, however, I'm from Fredericksburg, VA. I visit there quite often. I enjoy the drive.

I enjoy photography, going to plays, movies, out to eat, sports events, concerts, shopping,amusement parks, etc. I also like to stay home and cuddle on the couch watching a good movie. I really love to watch a good thunderstorm. I love snow but we don't get enough of it here in NC!! I love to do most anything if it's with someone I love.

I have a lot of energy so I stay busy and I'm pretty social. I'm a night owl and I don't like to wake up in the mornings but I still get up with a smile! My normal state of conciousness is happy.

I need someone who can handle my spontaneity. I have to know exactly where I stand in a relationship. No guessing games. Communication is the key. I'm an excellent communicator!

I work out daily, usually at the YMCA. I began taking piano lessons a few months ago. I've always wanted to learn Spanish and I'm looking forward to taking some online classes starting next week.

I believe everything happens for a reason and that there are no endings, only new beginnings. I accept change and make the best of it. I am an honest person with good moral standards. I love to laugh and I'm not easily offended. I love children and they usually love me.

I like to volunteer in the community by collecting school supplies for needy kids and sending packages to Sumaritan Purse and my favorite so far is participating in the Million Meal Project preparing and packaging meals (assembly line style) for starving people in third world countries.

I do not attend church regularly at this time. I am usually reading one or more self help books and continually seek information to better myself. If I don't like something about my life then I change it if possible.

I have been mistreated badly by the men in my past so I am very cautious to ensure that doesn't happen again. Please give me a little time to begin to trust you. Don't get me wrong, I am not bitter. All of my past experiences have made me who I am today so I'm glad things happened the way they did.

I love all genres of music. I love to dance and also like to sing, but thank God American Idol has an age limit....or so say's my daughter! Ha, ha.

My daughter is 16 and beautiful. She was ranked #1 in her class last year. She attends a high school for gifted children and she lives there in a dorm. I pick her up most weekends.

Whoever ends up with me will absolutely know that he is loved because of the way I treat him. I like to pamper my man by doing things like giving him a massage or by bringing him some lunch to work, etc. I like to also be pampered back! I love romance and I cannot live without it. I love joking and playing around a lot but no head games or drama. I've had enough of that for a lifetime.

I try not to live in the past or obsess about the future, but instead, enjoy this moment because it is a precious gift and it's all we have! We can learn from the past but we really don't need to relive it, regret it, or think too much about it. It's gone. My expectation is to meet some good friends and if it turns out to be something more then all the better! Well, I forgot to say that I have a tendency to ramble so I'll stop for now!
