I am a little timid about trying this whole online dating thing, but I'm keeping an open mind. I moved here to Washington from Florida a couple of years ago and have not yet been able to find a good place to meet people. I like going out to listen to some music, do a little dancing, and try to hustle somebody at pool. Basicaly, I just like being out having fun with friends. I'm into all types of music, seriously anything from top 40, country, to classic rock. I enjoy watching all types of sports, in fact on most sundays I'm usually watching either a football game or race (hey I am from the south, we love our NASCAR).

I'm going to be honest, okay, I'm carrying around a few extra pounds, alright, maybe a little more than a few, (hope you like your girl a little extra curvy) but I am currently trying to get in shape. I'm a serious gym bunny, I go to the gym 4-5 times a week and am looking for someone with the same sweaty commitment to health that I now have. Just starting to get outdoors and run and enjoy the gorgeous scenery. I like hiking and being outdoors (washington really is beautiful) and have taken full advantage of this great summer we had and hit a few of the trails.

I'm looking for someone fun and funny, someone that doesn't take himself too seriously and who doesn't take longer than me to get ready. I mean seriously, how much gel is too much? Me, I like to have fun and in general I just want to make people happy and comfortable to be around me. I'm a little crazy and even though you wouldn't know it by this completely generic profile I've written, I have a great sense of humor. (Really I do) I'm looking for a guy that's ok starting out as friends and then seeing where things may end up.

So i thought dinner, first, but a nice gentleman, on this website, informed me that that was probably not the best idea for a first date. It seems that guys do not want to be stuck eating a whole meal with someone they do not feel an immediate attraction to. I concur. So I guess the obligatory coffee date is much more appropriate. And since i happen to like coffee, that's ok.
