I love music, mostly everything, but I do love something with a bit of beat so you can dance to it. Love reading, and at this moment in time,I am heavyly into crime fiction, especially by Patrica Cornwell or Martina Cole, but saying that I like to indulge in a bit of Chick Lit every now and then. I am very much into family life. I have 3 teenage sons who I love dearly but sometimes I could do with a bit of me time. I am not in the least bit work orientated, but that doesnt mean I'm lazy, far from it, it just means that I would prefer to dity a house up from top to bottom and do a mountain of ironing then do a 9 - 5 job, but saying that, I am currently looking for employment after bringing my kids up for the past 18 years. I consider myself kind, patient, loyal, faithful with a great sense of humour, will do anything for anyone if I can. I do admit that I tend to be a bit on the quiet side unless I know someone really well. I love gardening, cooking, pretty much everything in relation to the home. I would consider myself low maintenance, and would try anything once within reason. Not bat at DIY. I am not a fashion victim, and my idea of hell would be to traipse round the shops on a saturday morning. Need to lose a few pounds, got the inclination, but not the motivation at the moment.

For a first date, i think it would be good to go for a drink to see if there is any initial attraction, if you seem to be getting along ok, going for a meal would be the next step, because you then get the chance to get to know the person better, get to know their likes and see if you have interests in common.
