Looking for a long-term relationship with a woman who enjoys some of the same interests as me...I am a caring and considerate 48 year old (can't fix the age in profile banner) who would value spending time together doing things that we both could enjoy . . . I spend as much time as possible in and on the water during Michigan's short summer, sailing, waterskiing, boating, or just beach walking. Fall is a great time for a drive up north, a hike, bike ride, or a wine tasting weekend. I really enjoy a weekend away snow skiing either downhill or cross-country followed of course with a glass of merlot near the fireplace. . I try to attend Church weekly and find this to be a great source of comfort and inspiration in my life. I like going to concerts, (not much into CM but a live performance may be an exception) dining out, game night, reading the newspaper . . . I'm not much into TV but I don't mind a good movie. I've been teaching myself to cook and finding that to be enjoyable, somewhat relaxing and a great way to fatten up my neighbors dog! (no really its not that bad!). . . I enjoy my work, I'm Motivated (most of the time) I try to stay fit by working out a few times a week. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I have 2 great children 12 and 16 who spend limited time with me as they live 200 mi. away, so visiting routinely is not practical unless there on long breaks from school. Given the challenge of distance I still feel I provide a positive influence in their lives . . . . OKAY if nothing I've stated so far turned you off, then here's the bad stuff. . . If you haven't noticed already I suck at punctuation and run on sentences. . . oh and I tend to be, "lets say organized" I like things neat. Not the "freak me out if you touch my things neat", but I like to be able to find my stuff. . . eventually . . .I don't care for smokers and I'm really not a huge fan of indoor pets . . . may be adaptable, to that one though, but that will cost ya.
