Every day, I get up, and then I fall down. In between I like to have as much fun as I can in the most honest way that I can. I consider myself a simple man with humble goals. I have a beautiful little 12 year old girl that I adore and share much of my life with. I work out every day and try to keep fit. One of the things I take pleasure in is swimming, which I do on a regular basses. I enjoy sharing a drink with a friend every now and then but I’d rather have an iced tea than a beer. I would like the honor of sharing precious moments with a good person that is honest, enjoys breaking bread with a fateful companion and doesn’t mind laughing from time to time. I am a former Marine and have seen much of the world. Someday I would love having a partner by my side that would like to travel to some of the places I have not been. I am rather shy at first but I enjoy treating a girl with kindness and respect. I love old movies, staying up late and picnics with a fall breeze. I have a weakness for romance but I always keep one foot on the ground. I’m not a big dancer but would not be to shy to learn if you teach me. I am very conservative in deeds but very liberated in thoughts and ideas. I don’t consider myself a Wildman but am not apposed to some good old fashion fun. I love my music but not as loud as I used too and every once in a while, I like a good road trip just to keep things in perspective.

Inevitably I am looking for a life long companion and friend. In my humble travels I have found that perhaps the Australians say it best when they refer to each other as “Mates“. This is more to them than a clever saying. It is equality on steroids and a sign of mutual respect and comradeship. It means no mater what your stature is in life, because we are Australian or friends we are forever bound as mates; as in shipmates at sea. I know that peace, friendship and trust are pretty tired dog-eared words but they are the first words I think of when I think of the woman I hope soon is part of my life.
