Retired hospice nurse, Still working part time once in a while, but would like to find a best friend & traveling companion to see more of this great country. A self avowed Liberal whose biggest fault is trusting too easily. AM honest to a fault, not looking for a one night stand or just an intimate encounter. I am a people person but most definitely monogamous. Will not hold someone else to a different standard than what I hold myself. I like being outdoors whether it be walking for exercise, browsing thru flea markets & yard sales or just walking through the Mall. I'm an avid reader of several genre's over the years. This has been a life long habit. I enjoy listening to good blues music or most other types, except for the hard rock & rap. After getting to know a bit about each other over the phone I would like to meet someone in a place that is mutually convenient & safe for both of us. For a first meeting, it can be for coffee or lunch, or even dinner in a casual situation. That way we can get a feel for whether or not there's enough of a mutual attraction to arrange another meeting.
