Yes, there seems to be a shotgun approach to dating when you do this online thing, but what can you do? I'm not looking to date/sleep with a bunch of women as I have very little time nor the desire to do so. I would simply like to find one cool woman. If you like to play games, sleep with more than one person at a time, aren't honest, date a guy based on the car he drives, money he makes, etc, then please go to the next guy... I'm sure he will appreciate you more than i will. Also, i am challenged when it comes to using the caps key. i am currently taking medication to fix this, but sadly it only helps intermittently.

I think the most important thing to me is trying to be the best person i can be. :)

I am originally from the Bay Area, but have lived here for the last 10 or so years. Yes, Sacramento has grown on me.

Unfortunately i have been working a lot, but when i am not, i try to spend some time in the garden, throwing a bbq, working on my house, cooking, or enjoying a bottle of wine with good people. Because my weekdays can be a bit crazy, i do at times enjoy doing more low key things like cooking dinner and watching something interesting on tv. sadly, i don't have cable but netflix is a good sub. I love funny shows like 30 Rock and The Office, to indie and subtitled films. I'd like to think i am a bit eclectic in my interests.

I haven't always worked in construction. I started out in finance and basically did the Office Space thing. well, except i didn't embezzle money or date jennifer anniston... who apparently isn't all that because she can't seem to hang onto a man. ;)

i realized as i was remodeling my house that i was passionate about construction. at some point i was sick of pushing paper around and looking out a window all day and decided to make a huge career change. i don't regret it except for the fact that we have to get up really early and use portable toilets. Let me just say I am not a big fan of the porta potties and do all in my power to avoid them. Sorry, that was probably TMI.

Ideally the woman I'd like to meet would have good morals and values, classy, social, fun or better yet, funny, adventurous, down to earth, athletic or at least healthy, likes to travel, isn't really religious, not a republican unless you are really liberal, gay friendly, height/weight proportionate, feels less is more when it comes to makeup, stylish, responsible but able to let her hair down once in awhile, not too trendy, good family, enjoys cooking, etc.

If you aren't decent at communication, introverted/shy, play games, wear outfits with Bebe on them often, have the desire to hangout at trendy clubs often, have tats on your boobs, or have fake boobs, lease a car you normally couldn't afford to purchase, have lots of debt outside of a home, think Halloween is a great excuse to dress like a hooker/skank, use words like kewl, post pictures of you making that kissy face while usually doing the peace sign, have 8 pics of just your face or cleavage shots or of you so far away we can't tell who it is, we probably aren't a good match.

I can't imagine I am any different to date versus other guys. Thinking back on my past relationships, I have enjoyed cooking with my partner, watching some tv while drinking wine and maybe playing a game, jaunts out of town, doing things with our friends, throwing parties, going out to eat, talking. It is amazing how the basic things we do to get through life can be so enjoyable with the right person. I'm always open to trying new things and am always excited to see what a new partner adds to my life.

Thoughts: please don't email me if your profile contains a couple lines and you don't tell me something about yourself in your initial email. If your profile contains (Prefer not to say) under drug use, body type, kids, weight, etc... Then you aren't being honest with who you are or what you want. Besides, it is pretty obvious what the answer might be when you put something like that. Know what I mean? Be honest because it comes out sooner than later. I want you to know as much about me as possible and I’d like to get the same in return.
