Like most people on this site I'm not really sure what to what to write but here it goes.

I'm Irish. Live by myself in Clapham, although I think I'm going to look for a house share soon. Been living in the UK for just over a year. I work in Luton as Finance Manager for a private jet company. I used to be a bar manager back in Dublin, best job in the world, bar none (well except the bar that i worked in, if you know what i mean). & I also have a degree in Biochemistry, but I've never been a biochemist. If I could I'd really, really love to run my own record label at some point. Tony Wilson is a huge hero of mine (if you haven't seen 24 hour party people, check it out). I have so many ambitions I guess all in all, I'm a bit of a mixed bag really.

I love going to gigs (I was at Glastonbury for the 2nd time this year. It was immense). I really like the live music scene in London. Besides the obvious marquee acts, there's so much diversity in the music scene at the moment it's almost impossible to keep up.

Other than gigs I love going to the cinema, hitting the odd museum & going to see good comedy. Amused Moose in Soho is excellent, as is Boat Show by Embankment. I also like just spending the evening chatting in the pub over a few drinks (what irishman doesn't???). Being from Dublin, I love having the banter. But just so I'm not completely fulfilling the stereotype that all Irishmen are alcoholics, I do enjoy running & football & the odd book (the odder the better. Flann O'Brien anyone? Or maybe I'm alienating people with that declaration???). Oh, & I play the guitar & sing too.

I guess I'm looking for someone that I can just enjoy hanging out with, no pressure & see how it goes. No, that doesn't mean that I'm looking for something casual, 'no strings' or whatever. It's just easier to get to know someone when there are no preconceptions.

Music, comedy, random event in town, anything as long as it's stimulating & encourages a good conversation. I do like coming up with surprises though. I like to keep things interesting.
