big music fan- been to over 400 rock shows and have a healthy cd collection. some of my faves are the chili peppers, van halen, ac/dc, led zep, cheap trick...but i also like al green, chris isaak, local H, rocket from the crypt, fefe dobson, suicidal tendencies, lisa loeb, among many others. how many guys do you know that are down with motorhead *and* the commodores?? you get the idea- i have a fairly wide range of stuff i like.

i like sports- pro football (cowboys are my fave but the bears are my 2nd fave) and basketball (bulls, lakers and several other teams, actually), UFC, am a cubs fan (i don't mind sox fans, tho. i'm more of a casual baseball fan). i don't like college sports, at all. isn't that ironic? i do have my reasons- if you'd like to know, just ask.

tv- i like entourage, curb your enthusiasm, family guy, the simpsons, south park, my name is earl, 30 rock, the office, intervention (on A&E), arrested development, the week in review and check, please on WTTW, david letterman and i'm a junkie for the real world and related challenge shows.

movies- miami blues is my all-time fave. pulp fiction, clerks, to live and die in LA, wild at heart, there's something about mary, dumb and dumber, u-turn, rushmore, the big lebowski, heavy metal (animated), snatch, lock, stock and 2 smoking barrels, crank, drugstore cowbiy, true romance, natural born killers, kids, requiem for a dream, memento, kung fu hustle, the king of kong (documentary of donkey kong)...i have a healthy collection of dvds, aswell (movies and tv shows).

i have a good sense of humor once you get to know me and am a pretty playful person. i'm pretty liberal, yet no non-sense and don't mind a little debate. i may have an intense personality but i'm no bad boy. prove to me that nice guys don't always finish last =)

not only can i spin a basketball on my finger, i can switch and spin a basketball on any finger without stopping.
i was a huge david letterman fan growing up and have a late night (not late show...late night was his NBC days, before conan!) with david letterman tattoo.
i can do 10 chin-ups in a row.
my fave color is blue but i also love silver/grey and purple. i also love red/white/black together- it's a classic combo, imo. if i were a crayon, i'd be the color indigo.

i have 9 mostly discreet tattoos.
i'm not a big fan of *facial* piercings. i tend to find them distracting/detracting to one's natural beauty. there are exceptions to the rule, but as i said, generally not a fan. belly button rings on the other hand...big fan of.
i secretly want to be spider-man when i grow up =) i have since i was 5 yrs old.
i have a honda civic and it's the best car i've ever owned, by far.
i'm actually enjoying having my condo fixed up how i want it and deciding on home improvements. it's a work in progress but it's getting there!

i don't ride the fence. i pretty much have an opinion on anything.
i wear my emotions on my sleeve- i'm a really easy read.
i'm not a texter or twitterer and i hate facebook. i do have a my.space.
people who are addicted to their phone and are clueless when it comes to phone etiquette annoy the hell out of me.

i like girls with glasses. i like that smart, sexy librarian look. at the same time, i'm a snob when it comes to frames. like dress ties for men, there are a lot of bad eye glass frames out there. hopefully, you have a nice pair (...of glasses!). mine are ray-bans...and they don't make this model anymore, dammit!

i love cats...and most cats dig me. i'm a sort of cat whisperer...and i'm straight, i swear! =)
