I have decided to update my profile...

First off, I am no where near nor should I ever be compared to as the "typical" guy out there. To be honest, I am really getting sick and tired of girls who constantly think that every guy they meet are the same. However, I do undrstand to an extent that there are a lot of "pigs" out there who send you provactive messages as well as disgusting pictures of themselves and ask such stupid sex questions. I do understand your frustration, believe me.

I am someone who has a career as a speaker, activist and consultant of sexual violence issues. I am an up and coming renowned individual who is called upon for the work I do. So therefore, I have a lot of respect for people I meet in general as well as females in which I would be the last person to ever come off as the "typical guy." In fact, I really do not understand the meaniong behind of what a typical guy is. I do a lot of work and speaking on masculinity and believe me, a "typical guy" can mean many things. Most respond to based on their past experiences which does not always mean that every guy is the same. I have several girl friends on dating sites and most of the stories and comparisions I hear I can truly understand why women are on the defense. Just remember that when it comes to online dating, you have more of an advantage to screen the people you talk to. I do know that there are days where a person can come across as awesome then you meet in person and they become a "typical guy." But don't make that out to be the worst thing that can happen. Because to be honest and blunt, the ladies out ther are not all that much better than what you view to be the "typical guy" as I have my own view of the "typical women."

I am one of those guys who is always the "nice guy who finishes last" and as I try to be nice and sweet yet, in a fun and sexy way...I always get compared to all the other pigs on this site. I am as real as I can be and I will always be as blunt as I am in my profile. So with that being said, if you cannot handle it then we are not meant to be. With the work I am setting out to do, I will be thrown out in the public and need a women who can be of strong character with me. Someone who supports me in the work I do but at the same time can still be who she is. I would never force the love of my life to be a different person other than someone who has faith, admiration and respect for me as a person as I would for her.

Last of all, I am hard of hearing in which I do hear and speak well in person but I do not hear all that great on a phone. I have realized from time to time that this seems to be a problem for many. So for those who have a problem with this...keep looking elsewhere because I do not have the time to constantly explain this much less try to find ways to "adapt" to your fear in my own hearing loss.

I am as real and as true of a person that I can positvely write about myself as. If that is not enough for you then don't let the "virtual door" hit you in the ass on the way out! I am truly looking for the "real deal" and that is someone who has what it takes to sweep me off of my feet for a change and vice versa!!
